On Friday, November 5, the GFS community gathered together for the annual Walk-A-Thon. The students and staff with many parents observing walked for one mile around the GFS campus and then gathered together on the playground. Mrs. Annette D'Augelli from Westport Human Services spoke to the crowd sharing the importance of giving to others. A beautiful mural created by Art teacher Mrs. Robinson and the students was displayed and the fifth graders sang the song "I Wish" led by Music teacher Mrs. Propp. This was followed by the school dance and the school song.  A big thank you to organizers Mrs. Greenwald, Mrs. Elfstrum and Mrs. Leary as well as numerous parent volunteers and Ms. Thomas for making this GFS tradition so special.
